TITLE

Home Interior space design and planning for handicapped wheelchair user

ABSTRACT

This application allows handicapped Wheelchair user to have a planning and interior space design of

their dream home. This application will be provided a normal studio apartment together with customs

furniture’s design mainly for wheelchair user and for the output Oculus Riff, Joystick, and Leap

sensor are also might be provided as well. Other than that, user will also find a lot of

information/interaction appears on the screen explaining about a certain constrain arrangement,

measurement, and safeness for wheelchair user.

TARGET AUDIENCE

Adult - Handicapped Wheelchair User

GOAL

What is the goal of the whole application?

-        To allow Handicapped people on wheelchair to have a plan in designing the interior space of their home according to their disabilities in a virtual world.

What is the application trying to solve?

-        This application is trying to solve a problem that normal Wheelchair user facing in designing the interior spaces of their dream home

-        To educate handicapped wheelchair user about the safeness in designing the interior space of a house for user.

What is the advantage of VR that can be exploited to enhance project?

-        This virtual application would allow user to have a fully immersion design experience in designing the interior space for wheelchair user home.

Is this project new or has it been created before?

-        Based on my research, I couldn’t find any application that allow wheelchair user to design the interior space for handicapped wheelchair user home by using VR application.

OBJECTIVE

The objective of this application is to educate user about the safeness and to allow user to have a planning in designing the interior space for wheelchair user home.

LEVEL DESIGN

Home page - Start, Exit and Menu Button

Level 1 - An animation introduction will appear on screen

Level 2 - Player will be spawn at the living room in the house and ready to design and explore the living room

Level 3 - Once user enter the kitchen, user is allow to design and explore the living room

Level 4 - Once user enter the bedroom, user is allow to design and explore the bedroom

Level 5 - Once user enter the toilet, user is allow to design and explore the toilet

Pause Button - Restart, Resume and Exit

INTERECTION

User is able to change the design and arrangement of the furniture in a fixed environment.User is also allow to use realistic function such as open the pipe, turn on the light and much more
